Our Geribi Girasole Bread and Butter Plate features a bold yellow center separated from the yellow petals with a blue scallop design. Girasole means "sunflower" in Italian. The name--Gira ("to turn") + sole ("sun")--bespeaks the fact that sunflowers turn their faces toward the sun as it passes overhead. Geribi is known the world over for its cheery yellow petal design, a motif borrowed from past centuries and updated by Geribi designers. Food- and dishwasher safe (low-heat or energy-saver dry cycle works best). Made in Italy.
