The result is a soft coating that repels stains, can be sponged off, and still retains the beauty of the underlying jacquards. These cloths will not need washing as often as a regular cloth, but they can be machine washed. Do not use fabric softener as it will erode the coating over repeated washings. Iron coated cloths, when desired, from the underside so the direct heat of the iron won’t damage the coating.
