Caterina Ltd. offers unique "bubble" glassware from the Provencal town of Biot. Come see the finely made pieces that incorporate functional use with exquisite artistic qualities.   

All Biot glassware is hand blown in the Biot workshop which houses 30 master glassmakers. Unlike most functional glassworks, the Biot glass is filled with beautiful bubbles. The soul of Biot is in its bubbles.

Glassmakers in 18th century settled in the South of France in the small town of Biot. They began producing functional glassware for everyday life such as oil lamps and jars. They did not view their creations as fine art. La Verrerie de Biot has continued the tradition of quality glassmaking while introducing an artistic value into each piece.
