Incanto ("enchantment") is created by an Italian maestro with designs from his family's heirloom dinnerware and his country's art ad history. Artisans wash a white glaze over each piece made of a special brown clay ("terra marrone"), traditionally used for large sculptures and wall art. A denser clay than traditional terra cotta, it is fired at higher temperatures and can withstand microwave, oven and dishwasher. Combining whimsy with elegance, the Vieri Incanto collection invites countless combinations of patterns and shapes. Here, in the "grape" dinnerplate, with a tiny bunch of grapes design impressed into the clay before glazing. The Incanto Collection is also a perfect addition to any bridal registry!
