Garnier Thiebaut invested ten years of research in the perfection of their coating. The result is a soft coating that repels stains, can be sponged off, and still retains the beauty of the underlying jacquards. These cloths will not need washing as often as a regular cloth, but they can be machine washed. Do not use fabric softener as it will erode the coating over repeated washings. Iron coated cloths, when desired, from the underside so the direct heat of the iron won’t damage the coating.

Garnier Thiebaut Placemat Mille Flots. The same bold tone on tone modern patterns in jewel colors of vleu vif (turquoise), rose vif (fuscia), canard (teal green) or vert printemps (spring green).  Only this one is coated to allow you to clean it by simply passing over with a sponge. 100% cotton with an amazing acrylic coating. Garnier makes a large placemat (16x20 inch) that is big enough to encompass flatware and glasses, too. Washable and colorfast, these table linens are made of yarn-dyed colorful jacquard by one of the oldest manufacturers in France. Using warp and weft plied yarn and indanthren vat dyes, these elegant table linens resist color degradation from light and laundry.
