German Village plans three big weekend events
Whether it's music, sweet treats, decorations or ambiance, German Village is looking to offer what residents and visitors want this weekend.
Three annual neighborhood events are set for this weekend: GartenMarkt, Mother May I... and the Village Singers' spring concert.
Mother May I ...
Eighteen village businesses will offer special deals to mothers who visit between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, May 8.
This year's theme is "Mother May I ... Treat You to Spring in Historic German Village?" The idea, as always, is for residents and visitors to bring their mothers to the neighborhood the day before Mothers' Day to enjoy its shopping, boutiques and entertainment -- and maybe a few free cookies, too. Catherine Adams isn't the type to take retirement sitting down.
