This cute little pot with its own lid is meant for parmesan cheese but doubles for sugar, tub margerine, or jellies and jams. There is a little cut-out for your spoon, too. Much beloved in Italy since the disclosure of Raphael's frescoes at the Vatican around 1600, the yellow Raffaellesco griffin graces each piece of this lovely white-glazed terra cotta ceramic. Food- and dishwasher safe (low-heat or energy-saver dry cycle works best). Made in Italy.
