Owner Catherine Adams launched Caterina Ltd. in 2003 after her retirement from 25 years of a busy law practice. Having spent formative years growing up in Germany, traveling, studying and working extensively through Europe, and living two decades in German Village, she dreamed of importing quality products directly from European artisans and offering them for sale in her own shop in German Village—an enclave of Old World atmosphere. By importing as much as possible directly, she is able to keep the prices within reasonable ranges and still offer quality products of great beauty created according to ancient traditions. Caterina Ltd. opened in June 2003 at 625 South Third Street. We moved to our present location in 2007. Park for free in our lot across Beck Street to the north.
