Bellezza [beh’leh’zah] means beauty! Tuscan artisans use traditional 13th century Montelupo techniques and enamel to create a low-gloss surface with depth and beauty on the hand made shapes. Rather than covering its earth-colored terra cotta form, a delicate glaze lightly veils each piece revealing a liveliness and warmth of color that emanate through the glaze. Ornament rolls are used to create the designs on each lightweight, yet durable piece. Designer Franco Ammannati and master molder Stefano Roselli work with dense terra cotta clay that withstands the dishwasher and microwave and use an old French kiln technique for firing. Available in five colors, Bellezza Dinnerware combines beauty with strength in a dishwasher safe and microwavable collection. Use this round baking dish for oven cooking.
